Attire
St. Anthony’s and the WBU were both built in 1880s and given new life by the people who loved them. In a way, this reminds us of our own stories.
Our whole day has a dash of 1880s, a pinch of folk Catholic charm, and a nod to Pittsburgh’s best vintage eras. We’d love for your attire to play along, but only if you’re into it!
Wear a little piece of your own story: a vintage tie, a thrifted hat, an heirloom brooch… anything that makes you feel warmly nostalgic or just plain fabulous.
Men’s Attire
For the gentlemen, channel a turn-of-the-century fellow on his way to the dance hall: plaid or stripes in browns, neutrals, yellows, or greens, with a jacket, vest, or slacks, a tie or bowtie, suspenders, a pocket watch, or a newsboy cap, bowler, or top hat. Just one piece is plenty, and anything vintage is welcome!
Women’s Attire
For the ladies, think cozy and old-timey: patterns, plaid or stripes in browns, neutrals, yellows, or greens, with a long dress or collared top, a shawl, long coat, or fur piece, an ornate hat (feathers, a big brim, lace, or flowers), gloves, or antique jewelry.
