About Us
Like many couples these days, we met on Hinge. Jess opened with a compliment on Dave’s Ray-Bans, and we never stopped talking. It might sound crazy, but even before our first date, we both knew this was it.
Jess is Pittsburgh through and through, with family here for generations, and Dave came to town for film school and adopted the city as his own. We’re both sentimental homebodies with a soft spot for anything old-school. We share our home with our two cats, Puck and Cobweb, who run the place.
With such a modern beginning to our love story, it’s funny that we’re getting married the old-fashioned way. But that’s by design: we wanted a day that feels more like a gathering than a production. We can’t wait to slow down and celebrate with you.
St. Anthony’s Chapel
St. Anthony’s Chapel is home to the largest collection of Catholic relics outside the Vatican. Pilgrims travel from across the country and around the world to experience its beauty and sacred history. We’re honored to say our vows in this holy place, surrounded by you and so many saints.
WBU Event Venue
The WBU, short for Workingman’s Beneficial Union, is a former German social hall. In Pittsburgh’s industrial heyday, its Spring Hill location was one of six WBU halls across the city. We’re excited to welcome you into this little piece of Pittsburgh history as we celebrate our future.
